    Micronesia 2016 - Truk Lagoon

The largest underwater museum on Earth, Truk Lagoon, located north-east of Papua New Guinea, is one of the great pilgrimages a wreck diver should endeavour to make in their lifetime. Here at Adreno we are now offering fellow divers a chance to take this epic journey!

An incredible dive through history, the dive site is the final resting place of more than 100 World War II warships, fighter planes and submarines. A spectacle in itself, what these mighty vessels held below decks is the clincher. Tanks, bombs, bullets and a plethora of war artifacts that are still waiting to be uncovered. What makes this a scuba diver’s dream is the relative proximity of these spectacular wrecks.

Offering a breath-taking, oxygen tank-emptying look at a pivotal moment in world history. All the wrecks lie within an astounding 20 minutes of each other. A phenomenal experience to witness and one for lovers of warm tropical waters. Guarded by the surrounding Chuuk Islands, you will dive through some of the warmest and clearest water of your life, while battling virtually no current. The wrecks are often visible even to snorkelers!

While divers of all experiences levels are welcomed, this adventure is predominately for the more advanced diver. Most of the jaw-dropping, eye-popping 120m long wrecks are at depths of approximately 30m.

Adreno is offering divers the chance to join us on this adventure of a lifetime. The Truk Lagoon 2016 Tour, where from August 14 - 26, we explore this intrepid window into the past.

For more information, Adreno is offering divers a presentation in Sydney and Brisbane stores on April 7th at 6:30pm, for an in-depth look at the trip and all the incredible experiences it has to offer.
